Readmio vs Novel Effect
Two apps for parents who want to do the reading. Both listen as you read aloud and add sound effects and music; Readmio brings its own stories, Novel Effect works with real books on your shelf.
We make WonderCast, the third option on this page, so read what we say about it as disclosure, not a review. Everything about Readmio and Novel Effect comes from their own websites and app listings, checked 27 October 2026. Prices change; follow the links for current ones.
