1. Our Privacy Philosophy
At WonderCast, we believe that family memories are private. We have built our platform with a privacy-centric cloud architecture to ensure your data is secure while allowing you to access it across all your devices.
What happens to your data — your choice
WonderCast supports two paths for creating characters. You decide which one fits your family.
Describe-only path · default
Your text → WonderCast AI → Stylized avatar
No biometric data leaves your device. We can't recognize your child because we never see them.
Photo-optional path
Your photo → WonderCast AI → Stylized avatar
Encrypted at rest, deletable on request, never used for AI training. You can switch back to text-only at any time.
2. Data We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Account Info: Name, email address, and billing details (processed by Stripe).
- Content Data: Your generated stories, characters, and voice models are stored in our secure, encrypted cloud environment to enable synchronization.
- Usage Data: Anonymized metrics on how you use the app to improve performance.
3. AI Processing
When you generate a story, image, or audio clip:
- The prompt and necessary assets are sent to our AI partners (Google Gemini, ElevenLabs).
- Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3.
- Our partners are contractually obligated not to use your personal data to train their public models.
- Input files are discarded by our cloud processors immediately after generation is complete.
4. Children's Privacy
WonderCast is a tool for parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All account creation and management must be done by a parent or guardian. Voice samples from children are encrypted and accessible only to the parent account.
