One morning, Wondy the owl woke up with a grumbly, thundery mood. It felt like a little storm cloud had woken up with him too!

He tried to fly, but his wings felt heavy. He tried to hoot, but it sounded like a grumble. The little storm cloud followed him everywhere.

Wondy landed on a branch, feeling even more grumbly. Soon, his friend Fern the fox padded softly near.

Suddenly, Bruno the bear cub burst into the clearing! He loved to play and thought a game might make Wondy feel better.

Wondy looked at his friends. He knew they wanted to help, but his big feeling was still there. He took a deep breath.

Fern didn't tell Wondy to cheer up. Bruno didn't try to play. They just sat with Wondy, letting him know they were there.

Wondy closed his eyes and took a very deep breath. He felt the storm cloud, but he didn't try to push it away. He just breathed.

And slowly, gently, the little storm cloud began to float away. Just like forest weather, even the biggest storm passes. And the sun always comes back over the Wonderwood.
