It was Wondy the owl's very first day at Forest School. His tummy felt fluttery, like tiny butterflies were doing acrobatics inside. He wondered, 'What if it's too hard? What if nobody wants to play with me?'
Wondy took a deep breath and flew down from his tree. He saw a little tail peeking from behind a big fern plant. It was Fern the fox, looking even more nervous than Wondy felt!
Wondy looked at Fern's shy face. He remembered how he felt just moments ago. 'We can be brave together,' he thought. One small step, then another, they walked towards Forest School.
Soon, they saw the big, leafy archway of Forest School. It looked friendly, but still a little bit scary. They both felt their hearts beat fast. But they remembered their promise to be brave.
Inside, Forest School was full of interesting things! There were smooth river stones to stack, soft moss to explore, and the air smelled of sunshine and pine. Wondy and Fern quickly forgot their worries, making new discoveries and happy memories.
