Friends & Family Beta

Welcome, Beta Testers.

We're a family building WonderCast for our family and yours.

Every night, our boys become the heroes of their own stories, and bedtime turns into the best part of the day. We're sharing it early with the people we love so your family can have that same fun and learning — and help us make it even better. As a thank-you: 10 free personalized stories.

Heads up — there will be rough edges

This is a friends-and-family beta, not a finished product. Sometimes a story will take longer to generate than we'd like. Sometimes a voice clone will miss a vowel. Sometimes the art will surprise us. That's exactly why we want your family using it before launch — so we can fix the things that actually matter to families like yours and ours.

Two ways to create your child's character

Photo path

Snap or upload a photo of your child. WonderCast generates a stylized illustrated character that looks unmistakably like them across every story.

No upload needed

Or just describe them

If you'd rather not upload a photo, type a quick description instead — "a 6-year-old with curly red hair and brown eyes who loves dinosaurs." The character will be just as personalized, without any image ever leaving your keyboard.

We want to hear from you — and from your kids

Two perspectives, both honest. Our family reads every one.

From you (the grown-up)

  • What was broken, slow, or confusing?
  • Did the story quality earn a second night?
  • Was anything good enough that you'd keep using it after this test drive ends?

From your kids

  • What was their favorite part — and what was weird?
  • What do they wish it could do?
  • Kid ideas have shaped this app more than ours ever could — tell us what they say.

A thank-you from our family

We started WonderCast because a rough prototype changed how our own boys reacted to bedtime stories — and we wanted every family to feel that. Julius, Kai, and Emery have shaped every version since, and now we want your family to do the same. Tell us what you thought, and please ask your kids what they thought too. Their ideas keep making this app better than ours ever would. Tap the feedback button anywhere in the app, or email feedback@wondercast.app. We read every note as a family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Two ways. (1) Tap the feedback button anywhere inside the app. (2) Email feedback@wondercast.app — same destination, same family. We read every note personally.
10 free personalized stories — yours to keep. The real currency, though, is feedback. Tell us what worked, what was broken, and what your kids thought.
No. WonderCast can build a character entirely from a description — "a 6-year-old with curly red hair and brown eyes who loves dinosaurs." Just type and you're done. The photo path is faster and feels more like "that's my kid," but plenty of families prefer to describe, and the result is just as good.
Two angles. (1) Parent: was anything broken, slow, or confusing? Did your kid ask for the WonderCast story a second night? (2) Kid: ask your child what they'd want it to do, what their favorite part was, what was weird. Kid ideas are gold — half of the best features in here started as something Julius, Kai, or Emery wanted.
No. There will be rough edges — that's why we're sharing this with friends and family first. Sometimes a story takes longer to generate than we'd like. Sometimes a voice clone misses a vowel. Sometimes the art surprises us. Tell us when something feels off and we'll fix it.
Everywhere your family already is. The iPhone + iPad app is live on the App Store, Apple TV is live too, and the web app runs in any modern browser on desktop, laptop, or tablet. Pick one or use all three — your stories sync across them.
Yes. COPPA-compliant, encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell or share your data. If you decide to upload a photo, it's used only to render your character's reference art and stays in your account.
Zero required. Use it as much or as little as you want. A short note when something stands out — good or bad — is more useful than nothing. Even "my kid asked for the dinosaur one three nights in a row" or "the audio cut out on scene 4" tells us something we need to know.
